Poulton Bowling Club
Unfortunately Poulton Bowling Club have had to withdraw their 'B' team from the Association for the 2021 Season. Teams scheduled to play Poulton B in League matches will unfortunately have a bye on that date.

The Wallasey CGBA 2021 Season will start on Tuesday May 18th and despite earlier plans to play League and Cup matches this season, Clubs were asked to vote on whether they would prefer Cup matches or Pairs League matches instead. The overwhelming majority of support was to cancel all Cup Competitions for 2021 and to go ahead with the Main League and Pairs League formats. The Main League will start on Tuesday May 18th and will be played out to conclusion by Wednesday July 28th, weather permitting. League fixtures can now be accessed via this site and Pairs League fixtures will be formatted later in the season. Clubs will receive all the paraphernalia needed to commence the season within the next week or so and hopefully we can get on and enjoy our bowls again.

The Wirral & District Crown Green Bowling Association have been issued with the following list of protocols to be observed by all Clubs when the 2021 Bowling Season finally gets underway.
The following protocols have been drawn up in conjunction with the Bebington & District BL, Birkenhead & Wirral CGBL (Afternoon Section), Birkenhead & Wirral CGBL (Evening League), North Wirral BL and Wallasey CGBA.
Players MUST NOT attend any match if they or any member of their immediate family have any symptoms of Covid.
If there are cases of Covid in your Club then you should inform Track and Trace and your recent opponents and the Leagues.
All greens must have the following available for the duration of a match:
Jacks and mats must be cleaned after each game has been completed.
Measuring equipment must be cleaned if being used by more than one player.
It is recommended that:
A risk assessment of your green is carried out before the start of your first league match.
Players should wash or sanitise their hands before and at the end of their match.
Players using any toilets should use sanitising wipes to clean any surfaces that they may have touched.
Handshakes should be avoided with a ‘fist pump’ or ‘elbow knock’ used as an alternative action.
It is recommended that a designated player is assigned as measurer for the duration of the match.
Social distancing should be maintained for those players not on the green.
The wearing of masks is not essential, but players can wear one if they wish.
The wearing of gloves is not essential, but players can wear them if they wish.
It is recommended that Clubs should download the Covid QR code from the Government website or click here
Please don’t forget:
Government legislation currently prevents the use of car sharing with anyone outside of your household or support bubble.
These protocols will be revised on a regular basis as Government advice, recommendations and regulations are amended.
