The Heart of England Friendly Bowling League
The League was formed in 1973 to promote mixed bowling and to encourage clubs that played friendly games to join a league to play on Thursday evenings.
Six teams, Alcester,Garringtons,Tanworth in Arden,White Hart, White Swan (Henley) and Wootton Hall joined the League and formed the League for the 1974 season. This has now grown to 56 teams in six divisions.
The League started an Over 60’s League in 1990 and this has now got 70 teams in six divisions playing on Friday mornings.
