Group Matches A/B/ and C to start at 9:30am,D to start at 11am and Scratch at 10:00am/11:30am

Five games shall be in progress at all times in the group stages, including at least two games from each match until all matches are completed, and the order of play shall be as per rule 15(b).

Each team to consist of 8 players. Male or Female who must have attained the age of 60 years on the day of the Championship.

All players must be bona fide members of a club which is affiliated to the respective affiliate.

All games shall be 21up starting off 6 and in the rounds prior to the semi-finals the competing teams will play on a round robin basis to determine the semi-finalists.

In each group all matches will be played on the same green.

The semi-finals and final will be on greens where both teams have not played a match.

Any player absent when called to play shall be replaced by a reserve and shall not thereafter play in the match.

Not more than two players shall be selected to play on a green of a club of which they are playing members.

In each match the team with the higher aggregate will be awarded two points. In case of a draw, one point will be awarded to each team. After completion of the round robin matches, the team with the most points will be declared the group winner.

In the case of a tie for the winner and/or the best runner up rule 15(d) in the yearbook will apply.

A player may play for only one team in the Championship.
