We also welcomed a new County into the Briitsh Parks Family Southport and District will be entering the Barlows Senior County Championships and Veterans County Championship amongst other competitions.


The Veterans County Championship will now run as  the Senior County with 2 groups and then a semi and final during the year.


All draws will be conducted in JANUARY 2019.

Sun Sep 30th

Winners of the Dennis UK/ SISIS Club Team Championship were Pudsey from Yorkshire who retained their title against local team Lloyds from Greater Manchester  193 -169 at Metros Sports.  They beat Bridgewater then Woore then Meersbrook in the semi final . Full results can be seen on 2018 County results.

Sun Sep 23rd

Winner of the British Parks Junior Merit held at Millhouses Park, Sheffield was Nathan Dobson Yorkshire who defeated last years winner Ewan Walker Mousley in the final 21-18, The Supplementary was won by Callum Jeffrey South Yorkshire.

Winners of the Veterans County Championship was Yorkshire  finishing with 86 points and 4 wins from 5 games.

Winners of the Barlows Senior County Championship for 2018 are North Staffordshire after beating East Midlands in the final which is their first county title as North Staffordshire , Congratulations to them and commiserations to East Midlands on a good campaign.

Mon Sep 10th

Winner of the Esselle Sports Management Veterans Merit was Derek Wright North Shropshire who beat Alan Boulton North Staffordshire 21-10 in the final at Chester Road BC

Sun Aug 12th

Winner of the Senior Merit held at Irlam Steel was David May East Midlands who beat Josh Mordue Yorkshire in the final 21-18 and claimed his spot in the champions of champions at the waterloo along with the £500 winners prize.

Winners of the Junior 5 A Side were Yorkshire A  who East Midlands A in the final. And the Supplementary Winners were Yorkshire C who drew with Wirral A 92-92 but won it 3 games to 2. to take home the David Butler Trophy.

British Parks are pleased to announce sponsorship deals for two of the Association's competitions Dennis Uk/Sisis will be sponsoring the Club Team Championship on 30th September 2018 in Greater Manchester with the final being held at Metros Sports and Social Club.   And Esselle Sports Management will be sponsoring the Veterans Merit to be held on Monday 10th September at Chester Road Bowling Club, Whitchurch, North Shropshire.

At today''s EGM Four new officers took their place on the management of British Parks.   Chairman  is Craig Mcguigan Greater Manchester who is also our President, Vice Chairman is Phil Ellett Warwickshire, Treasurer Eric Taylor North Derbyshire and Registrar Marie Matthews North Shropshire.We hope this is a start of continuity in British Parks Management and development of the game .

 The 2018 draws also took place County Championship, Junior 10 a side, Junior 5 a side and Club Team Championship .  (  Draws on Tabs)

 Safeguarding is also coming to the fore and further details will be sent to all clubs stating their requirements this coming season to comply with rules.

The Association is looking for a new Treasurer to commence beginning of 2018 . The job description is available on the website on the tabs along the left hand side.  Anyone interested to contact the Chief Executive Officer.
